Ordering, proofs, production times, changes, shipping and returns for custom-made American Plaque Company products.
Custom production
Nearly everything we make is produced to order from your specifications. Orders enter production only after you approve a digital proof.
Proofs and approval
Approving a proof confirms wording, spelling, artwork, size and finish. We produce exactly what the approved proof shows.
Changes and cancellation
Changes are free before proof approval. After approval, changes may incur material and labor charges, and cancellation may not be possible.
Lead times
Quoted production times begin at proof approval, not at order placement. Rush service is available on many items — confirm in writing before ordering.
Shipping and damage
Inspect your shipment on arrival and report shipping damage within five business days with photographs so we can file a claim and rebuild the piece.
Returns
Custom items cannot be returned for reasons of preference. If we made an error against the approved proof, we correct or remake the item at our cost.
